Holistic Hatha (In Studio)

Nourish your body and your mind with this holistic session aimed at yogis of all levels. A range of poses and variations are offered during this class and you are encouraged to move at your own pace. Emphasis is placed on alignment, specific breathing techniques and relaxation to create a holistic experience. No previous yoga experience is needed. Props are supplied to allow you to access the poses at a level that suits you at the time.

Sessions start with grounding and pranayama (breathing), followed by a range of poses centred around a goal (such as hip openers), then lead towards a cool down, finishing with savasana (laying down meditation). Yoga philosophy is woven through out the class and is reflected in the intention (e.g. letting go, loving kindness, non-harming, etc).
