A movement session aimed to build better connections with your body and your mind to support inner physical and emotional stability.
Taking inspiration from yoga as well as more functional core exercises from Pilates, a range of movements and variations are offered and you are encouraged to move at your own pace. Emphasis is placed on alignment, specific breathing techniques and relaxation to create a holistic session. No previous yoga or Pilates experience is needed. Props are supplied to allow you to access the poses at a level that suits you at the time.
Sessions start with grounding and pranayama (breathing), followed by a range of stability poses, working towards stronger or harder options, then lead towards a cool down, finishing with savasana (laying down meditation).
