Restorative Yoga (Zoom)

This relaxed and slower style will encourage your mind and body to unwind and help you build mindful skills that can be used on and off the mat. All props are provided that assist you in getting into the poses for enhanced comfort.

Sessions start with grounding and pranayama (breathing), then a range of asanas (poses) designed around a main sankalpa (intention) are offered. These are held for 3-5 minutes, gently challenging the body and the mind, who are used to being busy and rushing from one thing to the next.
We finish with savasana (laying down meditation) that can include body scans, visualisations or specific meditations. No experience needed.
