
This 8 week Postnatal Yoga Therapy Program is a gentle, supportive space for new mothers to reconnect with their bodies after birth, in a way that feels safe, informed and nurturing.
Designed specifically for the postnatal period, this program supports physical recovery, nervous system regulation, and emotional wellbeing. Each session is guided by Yoga Therapy principles, meaning practices are adapted to meet you where you are - whether you are weeks or months post partum, recovering from vaginal birth or Caesarean, or navigating fatigue, overwhelm, or changes in your body.
Across the 8 weeks, we will gently explore:
Pelvic floor and deep core re-connection
Safe, progressive strength for the spine, hips and shoulders
Breath practices to support healing, energy and rest
Nervous system regulation to ease stress and support emotional balance
Restorative practices to encourage deep rest and recovery
Movements are slow, mindful and functional, with options offered throughout. There is no pressure to "bounce back" - instead, the focus is on rebuilding trust in your body, supporting long-term wellbeing, and creating a sustainable foundation for motherhood.
This program is suitable once you have been cleared for movement by your healthcare provider. Babies are welcome, however, older children will need to be cared by someone else to ensure this time is for you.
You don't need prior yoga experience - just a willingness to move gently and care for yourself.
